In October 2023, we are delighted to be hosting the Kidz Who Give at our very first Leadership Forum, where the Kidz will define and shape the future of our philanthropic and community service activities for the coming year

PROJECTS
WALK & CHOC at Withrow Park
​
in support of the UHN Foundation
​
On Dec 17, we walked 2.5km around the perimeter of the park, and then sold hot chocolate and baked goods at the corner of Bain and Logan! The Kidz Who Give raised an incredible $1657 for highest priority needs at the University Health Network!
FOOD BANK VOLUNTEERING

We love all the delicious treats around the holidays, but some families aren't lucky enough to have desserts... and sometimes can't even afford to eat at all!
​
The Kidz Who Give spent a day volunteering at a local Food Bank, preparing healthy meals to support fellow Torontonians struggling with food insecurity. What an incredible experience - we can't wait to make this a regular part of our routine!

VALENTINES FOR SENIORS
​
The Kidz Who Give spent the afternoon of February 12 carefully hand crafting 191 Valentine's Day cards with funny jokes, beautiful pictures, and heartwarming messages for the residents of a local low income seniors' home. After school on February 14, we visited the home to personally deliver cards to each resident. It was so rewarding to see the joy that they brought!
USED BOOK SALE

In June 2023, the Kidz Who Give collected hundreds of used books from their friends and neighbours. They spent several hours sorting these into appropriate categories, and making posters to advertise the event, and finally hosted a community book sale at a local park, along with a Freezie stand! They made an impressive $210 and chose to donate this to Feed Scarborough
